GA Funders’ Forum
Georgia communities need funding for water projects. Funders need strong applicants. The Forum brings them together.

Stronger together
No single agency can meet every community’s needs. Forum members learn each other’s programs, so when one funder can’t help, they know who can. That network of referrals has helped communities find their next step, and it has made co-funded projects possible.
Our mission: Connect Georgia communities with the funding they need.
Since 2007, the Georgia Funders’ Forum has brought together the agencies that fund water, wastewater, and stormwater projects across the state. Funders meet quarterly to share what’s working, refer communities to one another, and find better ways to put limited dollars to work.
We also bring funders and communities face to face. Through our annual workshop, webinars throughout the year, and the funding tables on this site, local governments, utilities, and nonprofits can find the right program and learn how to apply.
How to get started
1. Start with the funding tables.
Find programs that match your project type and your community
2. Contact the funder directly.
Each agency can tell you whether you qualify and walk you through the application.
3. Not the right fit? Ask who is.
Forum members know each other’s programs and can point you to a better match.
